Guided Pick

Guided Pick

We’ll walk the farm with you or your private group, pick what interests you, and help you arrange your bouquet.

Max group size: 4

Pricing: $15 per person, plus a minimum purchase of one bouquet

A note on how this works: We'll do the actual cutting, with your guidance on what to choose. We use this method because Burrowing Bee is a working ecosystem as much as a flower farm. We cut to protect the perennials, leave certain blooms for pollinators, and avoid disturbing food sources and habitats. You'll still pick everything that goes in your bouquet. We just do the snipping.

We feel that our property’s history and our approach to farming make for some pretty interesting stories. We’d love to share those stories with you as we walk you around the farm. Topics we often cover include the history of the property dating back to when it was a carriage stop between Lake Berryessa – formerly the town of Monticello, our microclimate, the native soil, our plant community, an introduction to California Native plants, and our philosophy on flower farming.

At the end of the tour, we provide one complimentary petite bouquet for every two guests and one additionally as needed.

Time: 45 minutes

Price: $45 per person (Groups of 2-6), $40 per person (Groups of 7-12)
